UKZN appoints the inaugural Mazisi Kunene Research Chair
The University of KwaZulu-Natal has appointed Professor Nompumelelo Zondi as the inaugural Mazisi Kunene Research Chair in the School of Arts.
The Chair supports research in African languages, indigenous knowledge systems, literature and the interdisciplinary humanities. It rests on a standing partnership between the College of Humanities and the Mazisi Kunene Foundation, directed at preserving the archive and widening access to the work.
